Position Overview

The Department Chair for the Patient Care Technician and Nurse Assistant ECG Technician programs is responsible for providing academic leadership, faculty supervision, student support, program management, community engagement, and ensuring compliance with accreditation standards.

Key Responsibilities

1. Academic Leadership: Oversee curriculum development, implementation, and evaluation, ensuring alignment with industry standards and accreditation requirements.
2. Faculty Supervision: Recruit, mentor, and evaluate faculty, fostering a collaborative teaching environment.
3. Student Support: Advise and mentor students regarding academic and career pathways.
4. Program Management: Manage budgets, resources, and schedules to ensure efficient program operations.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing

• Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in South Carolina or eligibility for licensure
