The chair leads teaching, research, service, and faculty development, while advocating for the department and coordinating curricular initiatives.

• Commitment to student success including recruitment, retention, graduation and placement of undergraduate and graduate students.

Responsabilités

• Establish the overall vision for the department regarding teaching, research, service, and student/faculty development.
• Manage and evaluate faculty and staff; mentor colleagues.
• Interpret college policies; advocate for the department within College and University.
• Lead curricular processes and ensure alignment with mission and accreditation.
• Facilitate department meetings, committees and timely communication with faculty.
• Seek student feedback on concerns of enrolled students.

Master's or PhD in related field
