Job summary

This full-time position (1.0 FTE) blends administrative leadership and an active faculty role, with salary details described in the posting.

You'll partner with DPTE faculty to align program goals, lead curriculum development for the DPT program, mentor teaching staff, and engage with the community

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited physical therapy program and earned doctoral degree (Ph.D./Ed.D. or related field).
• Rank: Eligible to hold rank of Associate Professor, Professor, Clinical Associate Professor, or Clinical Professor; salary/rank based on qualifications and experience.
• Licensed physical therapist or eligible to be licensed in California.
• Six or eight years of full-time higher education experience in PT education preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with DPTE faculty to ensure program goals align with the University’s strategic vision.
• Lead curriculum development for the DPT program.
• Mentor faculty in teaching, scholarship, and service growth.
• Maintain relationships with the local community and oversee volunteer clinics and accreditation-related activities.
