DH Pace Company, Inc. in Peachtree Corners, GA, is seeking to hire a Department Administration Manager to oversee the administration support operations of the department. Document and monitor compliance with policies and procedures established to operate the department in an organized, efficient and profitable manner. Implement the objectives, plans and policies that are established for the division and ensure all are consistent with the division objectives.

Position Overview:
  • Manage and, when necessary, will perform department administration activities involving but not limited to accounts receivable, accounts payable, customer service, payroll, customer billing, job costing, invoicing and contract processing.
  • Utilize prior management experience and training to determine staffing levels to select qualified employees to hire and train. Allocate responsibilities that will be most efficient for both the department and employee.
  • Maintain a great team culture through building team morale, conflict resolution and strategic scheduling.
  • Act as a liaison between employees, customers, subcontractors and management to ensure flow of information within the department is sufficient to facilitate business operations.
  • Review, evaluate and measure employee performance against company goals and standards and establish target for improvement when necessary; recommend promotion/job change and/or compensation changes for employees under assigned responsibility on pre-determined and timely basis.
  • Efficiently manage, provide leadership for and develop staff through effective communication, coaching, training and development for continued success and/or future advancement.
  • Determine staffing levels and oversee employee scheduling and foster a cooperative and harmonious working climate conducive to maximize employee morale and productivity.
  • Utilize company software and proprietary systems to timely generate department reports for Senior Management’s review of current operation status compared to meeting overall performance objectives.
  • Participate in planning process and establishing Division goals and objectives.
  • Keep abreast with all organization changes and business needs.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of two (2) years of related experience/training preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suites
  • Excellent time management skills, ability to multi-task and prioritize work
  • Represent the Company in a professional manner with great customer service and verbal communication skills
