TheAdministrativeManagerwillsuperviseagroupoflegalsupportstaffaswellasprovidesupportforofficeoperationsintheAtlantaOffice.ThepositionprovidesleadershiptopersonnelsupportingtheattorneysoftheFirm.Theprimarypurposeistoensureallattorneyshavethenecessaryassistanceandsuitablephysicalworkenvironmentforthepracticeoflaw.ThefollowingsetofsuccessfactorsdescribethecharacteristicsofthosewhoaresuccessfulinourFirm:

EssentialJobFunctions:

  • Superviselegalassistants,receptionist,officesupervisor/coordinator,andinterns.
  • Monitorandcoordinatelegalassistant/attorneystaffingratiosandworkflow.
  • Managetimekeepingofdirectreportsbyreviewingandapprovingweeklytimecards,PTOrequests,monitoringandmanaginghours,breaksandovertimerequests.
  • Assessstaffperformance,providecoaching/guidanceandaddressperformanceissueswhenneeded,conductannualperformancereviewsofdirectreportsincollaborationwithRegionalAdministrativeManager.
  • Understandandabletoperformbasicemployeerelations.
  • CollaboratewithRegionalAdministrativeManagertorecruit,interviewandhirelegalsupportstaff:review/vetresumes,conductandcoordinateinterviews,andobtainfinalapprovalforhiring.
  • Employeeonboardingduties(determineofficeseating,ensureofficeservicesandIThavesetupoffice/workstationandcreatedrequiredUseraccounts)andoffboardingduties.
  • CollaboratewithRegionalAdministrativeManageronthedevelopmentandimplementationoftrainingforassignedstaff.
  • EnsuretheAtlantaofficeisfunctional,safe,andadequatelystockedwithnecessarysupplies.
  • Interactwithpropertymanagersandmanagevendorsinsupportofofficeoperations.
  • Plan,scheduleandpromoteofficeevents(e.g.monthlybreakfasts,happyhours,holidayparties,staffmeetings,partnershipmeetings).

Education,Experience,andSkills:

  • HighSchoolDiplomarequired.Bachelor’sdegreeinbusinessadministration,management,orrelatedfieldpreferred.
  • Minimum3-5years’experienceinamanagement/supervisoryroleinaprofessionalservicesetting.
  • Abilitytoworkindependentlywithlittletonosupervisionandperforminafast-paced,dynamicworkenvironment.
  • Determinationanddesiretodrivecontinuousimprovementofoperations.
  • Abilitytocommunicateeffectivelywithalllevelsofmanagement.
