Crossroadsstaffing is seeking a meticulous depanelization operator in Moorpark, CA to safely separate PCBAs from production panels and inspect for defects. You will load panels, adjust equipment, and ensure edges meet customer requirements while protecting boards from ESD damage.
Responsibilities include recording production data, communicating issues to leadership, and maintaining a clean, safe work area while collaborating with Production, Quality, and Manufacturing Engineering teams.
Safely operate automated depanelization equipment used to separate individual PCBAs from production panels. Review work instructions, drawings, panel layouts, and production documentation before beginning work. Verify the correct panel, part number, revision, and quantity before processing. Load and position PCB panels into depanelization equipment according to established procedures. Adjust and operate equipment according to approved process parameters. Carefully separate individual circuit boards while minimizing stress, flexing, vibration, or other potential damage to the PCB or components. Inspect depaneled circuit boards for cracks, chips, burrs, delamination, damaged components, lifted pads, broken traces, or other defects. Remove excess tabs, rails, or board material as required using approved tools and processes. Ensure edges of depaneled boards meet established customer and workmanship requirements. Protect boards from ESD and physical damage throughout the depanelization and handling process. Identify and report damaged boards, tooling issues, equipment problems, or unusual conditions to the Lead, Supervisor, or Quality department. Perform basic equipment cleaning, maintenance, and housekeeping as required. Replace or assist with replacement of blades, bits, fixtures, or other consumable tooling when authorized. Maintain proper identification and traceability of work-in-process and completed assemblies. Accurately record production quantities, scrap, defects, and other required information. Follow established ESD, safety, quality, and manufacturing procedures. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Work closely with Production, Quality, and Manufacturing Engineering to resolve process or quality concerns. Support production schedules and maintain required productivity and quality standards.
