Job summary

Young Life in Denver seeks a YoungLives Coordinator to develop and sustain YoungLives ministries for teen parents. You will partner with the area to reach teen families and lead teams in spiritual development, mentorship, and community outreach.

Responsibilities include recruiting volunteers, training leaders, coordinating events, and managing donor relations while maintaining Young Life's mission. A college degree is preferred, with willingness to travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Commitment to a growing relationship with Christ.
• Ability to clearly communicate the Gospel and train others accordingly.
• Ability to clearly communicate Young Life’s mission and the vision for YoungLives.
• Understand the unique issues faced by pregnant and parenting teen moms.
• Proven relational skills with both adolescents and adults.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to travel as the job requires.

Responsibilities

• The YoungLives coordinator serves to develop and sustain YoungLives ministries in the respective areas.
• Lead teams and individuals in spiritual development with a yearly growth plan.
• Recruit, train and develop mentors, childcare and other volunteers for leadership.
• Plan and implement outreach meetings, camps and ministry strategy with area leadership.
• Manage finances, donor relations and reporting to area leadership.
