Job summary

Empower Retirement seeks a Retirement Plan Advisor based in Denver to guide participants through defined contribution and Government plans. You’ll run in-person presentations, build relationships with employers and participants, and collaborate with the Relationship Management team to drive plan outcomes.

The role requires 3–5 years in financial services, FINRA registrations, and strong presentation skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
• 3–5 years in financial services
• Strong presentation skills required
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams
• Strategic thinker who can work independently
• Strong relationship building and territory management skills
• FINRA Series 6, 63, 65 registrations required within timeline; current registrations preferred
• FINRA fingerprinting required upon hire

Responsibilities

• Conduct Retirement Readiness Reviews and group presentations to improve retirement outcomes
• Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with key stakeholders in each location within the territory
• Lead one-on-one virtual and on-site group meetings using various technologies
• Manage meeting schedules, including travel arrangements
• Create and execute business plans to drive retirement income objectives for participants
• Document interactions in Salesforce and ensure regulatory compliance
• Meet plan level and individual goals to achieve service level agreements
• Participate in client meetings and sales events as needed
• Collaborate with internal teams to improve effectiveness
