Job summary

Empower Retirement, LLC seeks a Retirement Plan Advisor based in Denver, CO to present retirement planning concepts and conduct group and individual meetings for 401(k)/(a), 403(b), and Government 457 plan participants.

You will use data-driven analysis to meet client service levels and annual targets, support Relationships Management, and build partnerships with key stakeholders across the territory.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 3–5 years of relevant financial services experience.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
  • Strategic thinker who can work independently.
  • Strong relationship-building and territory-management skills.
  • FINRA Series 6, 63, 65 registrations required within established timeline; current FINRA registrations strongly preferred.
  • FINRA fingerprinting required upon hire.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct Retirement Readiness Reviews and other meetings with targeted participants to improve retirement outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with key stakeholders for each location or employer-sponsored plans.
  • Conduct one-on-one virtual and on-site group meetings using various technologies.
  • Manage meeting schedules, including travel booking.
  • Create and execute dynamic business plans to drive retirement income objectives.
  • Document interactions in Salesforce and collect required information for regulatory compliance.
  • Achieve plan level and individual goals to meet service level agreements and business results.
  • Participate in client meetings, sales finals, or other external meetings as needed.
  • Work collaboratively across internal service and management teams to improve effectiveness.

The Retirement Plan Advisor assists individuals in achieving a successful retirement and planning their financial future through group and individual presentations to new and existing defined contribution 401(k)/(a), 403(b), and/or Government 457 plan participants across all plan sizes. This role uses data-driven, analytical thinking to lead impactful conversations with participants, meets client service level agreements and achieves annual targets as assigned. This position will also assist the Relationship Management team in effectively establishing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders within the territory assigned. This Retirement Plan Advisor will work with an employer in Denver, CO. The Retirement Plan Advisor MUST BE BASED IN Denver and be available to meet with individuals in person. Bilingual in Spanish required.

What you will do
  • Conduct Retirement Readiness Reviews, as well as other individual meetings and group presentations, with targeted participants using consultative expertise to improve retirement outcomes
  • Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with key stakeholders for each location within assigned territory or for assigned employer-sponsored plans
  • Conduct one-on-one virtual and on-site group meeting by using various technologies in a professional manner
  • Manage meeting schedule, including travel booking
  • Create and execute dynamic business plans and tactics to drive positive retirement income objectives for participants
  • Document interactions in Salesforce and collect required information to adhere to guidelines for regulatory compliance
  • Achieve plan level and individual goals to help achieve service level agreements and business results
  • Participate in client meetings, sales finals, or other external meetings as needed
  • Work collaboratively across internal service and management teams to improve effectiveness
What you will bring
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in lieu of a degree
  • 3 – 5 years relevant financial services experience
  • Strong presentation skills required
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams required
  • Strategic thinker who can work independently required
  • Strong relationship building and territory management skills required
  • FINRA Series 6, 63, 65 registrations required within established timeline; current FINRA registrations strongly preferred

  • Base Salary Range $75,800.00 - $107,075.00
  • Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program.
  • Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance.
  • Actual compensation offered may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
