Job summary

Headlands Research in Denver seeks an experienced Principal Investigator or Sub-Investigator to establish and lead a new clinical site. Flexible scheduling options include part-time or full-time commitments, with a focus on diversity, outreach, and high-quality trial conduct.

The role requires prior PI/Sub-Investigator experience, Colorado license, and board certification or eligibility, with a collaborative team environment and strong regulatory knowledge.

Qualifications

• Active and unencumbered MD or DO license in Colorado.
• Board-certified or board-eligible.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Familiar with GCP and regulatory requirements.
• Strong organizational skills in a fast-paced setting.
• Experience as PI or Sub-Investigator in clinical trials.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee clinical trials at Headlands sites.
• Mentor site staff and promote inclusivity.
• Participate in investigator meetings and training.
• Obtain IRB approval for study initiation and modifications.
• Ensure subject safety and informed consent.
• Communicate with sponsors, monitors, regulators, and leadership.
• Provide ongoing staff training.
