Headlands Research in Charlotte, NC is seeking an experienced Principal Investigator or Sub-Investigator to help launch a new clinical research site. You will lead and oversee trials, ensure protocol and regulatory compliance, and mentor site staff.

Qualifications

• Requires MD/DO license to practice in North Carolina.
• Board-certified or board-eligible for clinical research.
• Proven experience as Principal Investigator or Sub-Investigator.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee clinical trials at Headlands Research sites, ensuring protocol compliance and ethics.
• Mentor and guide site staff fostering inclusivity and professionalism.
• Participate in investigator meetings and educational initiatives to stay current in research.
• Obtain IRB approval for study initiation and protocol modifications.
• Oversee subject safety, trial conduct, and informed consent processes.
• Communicate with sponsors, monitors, regulators, and leadership about study progress.
• Provide ongoing training and support to research staff.
