Job summary

Headlands Research is expanding a new clinical site in the Little Rock area and seeks a Principal Investigator or Sub-Investigator to lead trials with a focus on patient outcomes and diversity.

The role welcomes flexible scheduling and full- or part-time commitments, with a collaborative team of physicians, coordinators, and support staff to advance clinical research in underserved communities.

Qualifications

• Experience as Principal Investigator or Sub-Investigator in clinical trials.
• Active Arkansas MD or DO license; board-certified or board-eligible.
• Strong communication and leadership; regulatory and GCP knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead clinical trials and ensure protocol compliance.
• Mentor site staff and promote inclusivity and professionalism.
• Attend investigator meetings; stay updated on advancements in clinical research and diversity initiatives.
• Obtain IRB approval for study initiation and protocol modifications.
• Oversee subject safety, trial conduct, and informed consent process.
• Communicate with sponsors, monitors, regulators, and leadership.
• Provide ongoing training and support to research staff.
