Job summary

Orionplacement seeks an experienced litigation attorney to lead matters from initial analysis and client recommendations through trial and appeal. You will investigate and defend first- and third-party insurance claims, take depositions, and draft dispositive motions and briefs.

You will represent clients in Colorado state and federal hearings, conduct advanced legal research, and develop practical strategies while maintaining meticulous attention to detail. Colorado Bar admission is required.

Qualifications

• JD from ABA-accredited law school is required.
• Active Colorado Bar license is required.
• 3+ years of litigation experience required.

Responsibilities

• Manage litigation matters from initial analysis and client recommendations through trial and appeal.
• Investigate and defend first- and third-party insurance claims.
• Take and defend depositions and examinations under oath.
• Draft dispositive motions, briefs, pleadings, and other substantive legal documents.
• Represent clients at hearings in Colorado state and federal courts.
• Conduct sophisticated legal research and develop practical litigation strategies.
• Analyze insurance coverage issues and prepare coverage opinions when applicable.
• Communicate directly with clients and provide clear, strategic recommendations.
• Manage multiple active matters while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
