Job description

The Denver office of Fisher Phillips seeks to hire an attorney to join our Employment Litigation team as Of Counsel. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney with 10+ years of employment litigation experience looking to grow a practice under the mentorship of talented partners. We are seeking the next member of our team: someone who thrives in a hybrid work environment, has a growth mindset, and is eager to contribute to a collaborative community. No portable book of business is required for this opportunity.

The ideal candidate will have:

• First-chair trial experience
• The ability to manage matters independently from inception through resolution
• Experience handling Title VII matters
• Experience with unpaid compensation and wage-related claims
• Experience handling harassment and employment-related claims
• Strong written, oral, and client-communication skills
• An entrepreneurial mindset and interest in growing a practice

Typical day-to-day opportunities include working as part of a team handling litigation matters from start to finish, including responding to pleadings, managing discovery, taking depositions, arguing motions, and participating in mediations. You will work with clients on various day-to-day challenges under all employment laws, drafting/revising handbooks, training and similar activities.

In Accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary range for this position will be: $295,000 and above. Actual base pay within this range will be determined by several components, including, but not limited to, relevant experience, internal equity, skills, qualifications, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
