Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
• Admitted to practice law in the state and in good standing with the state bar.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in litigation, with a focus on commercial litigation.
• Proven experience in drafting and reviewing legal documents.
• Excellent research and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex legal information and formulate sound legal arguments.
• Strong negotiation skills, with a proven track record of successful dispute resolution.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
• Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously, meeting tight deadlines without compromising the quality of work.
• High level of professionalism and adherence to legal and ethical standards.
• Proficiency in legal research tools and software.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in court or before government agencies, presenting evidence to defend or prosecute in civil litigation matters.
• Draft and review various legal documents such as pleadings, motions, briefs, contracts, and other legal correspondences.
• Provide comprehensive legal assistance to clients, including advising on legal rights and obligations, interpreting laws, rulings, and regulations.
• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case preparation and strategy development.
• Negotiate settlements in commercial litigation cases to avoid court proceedings or to minimize costs where possible.
• Collaborate with a team of attorneys on complex legal matters, contributing to the development of case strategies and legal theories.
• Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality in all interactions with clients, court personnel, and other stakeholders.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest legal trends and developments to provide the most current and effective legal services.
