Job summary

Scoot Education in Denver, CO is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician to support students 1:1 or in classrooms. You will assist with moderate to severe behaviors, foster a safe learning environment, and follow directions from lead educators. A valid RBT certification and experience with developmental disabilities are required. An associate or bachelor’s degree (or 48+ college credits) and three references are expected. The role offers flexible assignments and varied pay.

What you’ll do:

• Work closely with students, either 1:1 or across entire classrooms
• Assist various moderate to severe scenarios such as Toileting; Personal 1:1 Care; Non-Verbal; Challenging or Aggressive Behaviors in the Classroom
• Foster a safe and nurturing learning environment
• Follow direction from, and assist lead educators

Daily Pay Range:

Pay will vary for day-to-day assignments and is typically more for long-term placements. Pay varies by certification, school, and assignment.

What We’re Looking For:

• Valid RBT Certification
• Experience in behavioral therapy and working with students with developmental disabilities
• At least 1 year experience working with children/adults with special needs; OR
• At least 1 year year in a classroom /education setting
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree, or 48+ college credits
• Three References with one by a previous direct supervisor
• State & federal background checks
  

You’ll stand out if you have:

• Any SpEd-specific training or applied behavior analysis (ABA) experience
