Job summary

CP Group seeks a Chief Building Engineer for a 930,000 sq-ft, Class A high-rise in Denver, CO. Lead the engineering team to operate, maintain, and upgrade essential mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire/life safety systems, ensuring 100% uptime and safety for tenants.

You will manage budgets, guide preventive maintenance, and coordinate with property management, tenants, and vendors to meet performance and safety goals.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of related work experience operating MEPS in commercial property.
• Universal CFC certification required.
• High school diploma or GED at minimum.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of energy management and building automation systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operation and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire/life safety equipment.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs and ensure 100% uptime.
• Manage budget with annual repair, maintenance, and capital improvement plans.
• Lead, train, and supervise Engineering staff for on-site operations.
• Ensure compliance with safety codes, regulations, and emergency procedures.
• Maintain tenant relations, expedite landlord work, and coordinate space deliveries.
