Gravity Global, a leading global marketing consultancy, is seeking a Payroll Manager (US) to oversee end-to-end payroll for employees across the United States, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance using ADP Workforce Now.

The role partners with HR and Finance to manage data, deductions, and year-end processes, while keeping up with multi-state regulatory changes and audits. Denver-based, with a focus on delivering exceptional payroll operations in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of end-to-end payroll management experience.
• Experience managing payroll compliance across multiple U.S. states including California.
• Hands-on experience with ADP Workforce Now.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. payroll laws, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.
• High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage confidential information with discretion and integrity.
• Strong communication skills and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full-cycle payroll process for U.S. employees across multiple states.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations, including tax filings and wage/hour reporting.
• Oversee multi-state payroll compliance and implement regulatory updates as needed.
• Serve as the ADP Workforce Now administrator for configuration, troubleshooting and optimization.
• Coordinate with HR and Finance on data, deductions, and GL alignment.
• Handle payroll audits, reconciliations, and year-end processes (W-2s, state filings).
• Develop, document, and maintain payroll policies and internal controls.
• Respond to employee payroll inquiries and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Support payroll-related projects and system enhancements.
