Job summary

Sonepar Canada, Inc. is seeking a Lighting Quotations Specialist in Denver, CO to coordinate bidding and quotation processes for lighting projects. You will work with sales to ensure accuracy and timeliness, review plans and specs, and propose solutions that meet profitability goals.

The role requires expertise in lighting equipment and electrical distribution, with experience in contractor inside sales. Great growth opportunities and full-time benefits accompany a competitive compensation

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
Extensive lighting equipment knowledge.
Experience in electrical distribution or lighting projects preferred.
Strong ability to read electrical plans.
Strong ability to read electrical specifications.
Experience as contractor inside salesperson or lighting projects management preferred.
Proficient in MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

Responds to customer and sales requests on lighting projects across a region.
Assist in planning and presenting training programs for customers and salespersons.
Provide verbal and written quotations for standard and non-standard merchandise.
Coordinate with Projects to resolve order problems and complaints.
Prepare correspondence and reports for business transactions.
Review plans/specs to suggest alternate solutions to customers.
Coordinate with external vendors for pricing and develop complete electrical distribution proposals.
