Capital Electric, part of the Sonepar group, is hiring a Project Quotation Specialist at its York, PA location. You will prepare accurate, timely quotations for electrical and lighting projects, review drawings and specifications, and collaborate with project managers and manufacturers to ensure competitive pricing.

The role requires strong communication, math, and computer skills, with a focus on customer service and delivering high-quality, on-time quotes in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 1-2 years customer service experience in electrical/lighting preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
• Strong math skills and accuracy in pricing and quotes.
• Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office applications.
• Reliable, responsible, and strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Effectively review and evaluate architectural and electrical drawings.
• Read and review switchgear specifications.
• Foster relationships with project managers and outside sales reps.
• Interact with manufacturers to produce competitive pricing.
• Determine costs and sell amounts to maintain margins.
• Provide complete and accurate quotations within deadlines.
• Stay current with new products and technologies.
