Qualifications

• Three or more years of Military Police, Corrections Officer, armed security-related, or certified law enforcement graduate experience.
• Armed Guard Card or license required.
• Associates degree or 60 college credits, Police Academy Certificate, or Corrections Academy Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and transit personnel by carrying out security procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of transit facilities and deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, report suspicious activity, and direct riders to transit resources.
• Prepare incident reports and coordinate with transit personnel and law enforcement as needed.
