42North Dental in Portland, ME seeks a Dentist to manage the full clinical patient experience from initial exam and diagnosis to delivery of care, including in-office specialties such as periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

Qualifications

• DDS or DMD degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Active dentistry license in the relevant state.
• Vaccination against Hepatitis B with documentation.
• Malpractice insurance coverage proof.
• BLS/CPR certification current.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases and develop treatment plans.
• Educate patients on treatment options and risks.
• Perform restorative, preventive and surgical dental procedures.
• Maintain thorough medical and dental records and radiographs.

Education

DMD or DDS degree

Current state license to practice dentistry

Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification
