Job summary
42North Dental is seeking a dentist to join our Portland, ME practice. The role involves comprehensive patient care from exams to treatment delivery, with in-office periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics available.

Qualifications
- DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA-accredited program.
- Current state license to practice dentistry.
- Vaccination documentation (Hepatitis B).
- Proof of malpractice insurance.
- BLS/CPR certification.
Responsibilities
- Promote oral health and disease prevention
- Diagnose oral diseases
- Educate patients on oral health and treatment options
- Create treatment plans and present options to patients
- Maintain and update patients' medical and dental records
- Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests
- Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws
- Provide restorative and preventive dental care
- Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues
- Maintain the highest standard of care, ethics and professionalism
- Stay updated with new developments and continuing education
