Job summary

Mission Neighborhood Health Center in San Francisco is seeking a Dentist to join our team. This full-time exempt role reports to the Dental Director and offers a starting annual salary range of $162,510 to $178,741 with full benefits.

You will provide routine and emergency dental services to MNHC patients with the highest standards of quality and customer service, including diagnosis and treatment planning, restorative procedures, crown and bridge construction, removable prosthetics,

Qualifications

• DDS or DMD from an accredited institution.
• California license to practice dentistry.
• Experience in community health center settings preferred.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and accreditation processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine and emergency dental services, including diagnosis, treatment planning, restorative work, crown and bridge, removable prosthetics, endodontics and minor oral surgery.
• Initiate and interpret x-rays and lab studies; administer anesthesia and medications as needed.
• Supervise Dental Assistant and Dental Hygienist; coordinate care with other clinic programs.
• Educate patients and families on oral health; participate in community dental programs.
• Maintain charting, comply with policies, and contribute to clinic productivity and quality care.
