Job summary
42 North Dental is seeking a part-time Dentist to lead and deliver the full clinical patient experience, from exam and treatment planning to care delivery. Our practice includes in-house specialties such as periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics, with a strong flow of new patients each month.
The role involves promoting oral health, diagnosing conditions, educating patients, and creating comprehensive treatment plans.
Qualifications
- DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA‑accredited program.
- Current state license to practice dentistry.
- Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
- Proof of malpractice insurance.
- Current BLS/CPR certification.
Responsibilities
- Promote oral health and disease prevention.
- Diagnose oral diseases.
- Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
- Create and review treatment plans with patients.
- Maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
- Review x‑rays and diagnostic tests.
- Monitor growth and development of teeth/jaws.
- Provide restorative and preventive care.
- Perform surgical procedures in the oral cavity.
- Maintain high standards of ethics and professionalism.
- Stay updated with new developments and continuing education.
