Job summary

42North Dental in Rhode Island is seeking a licensed Dentist to join our established practice.

You will promote oral health, diagnose diseases, educate patients on treatment options, and develop comprehensive treatment plans to restore and maintain oral health. Candidates should hold a CODA-accredited DDS/DMD, current state license, Hep vaccination, malpractice insurance, and BLS/CPR certification.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from a CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases and educate patients on treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.
• Maintain high standards of care, ethics and professionalism.
• Keep up with new developments and continuing education.
