Job summary

42North Dental in Rhode Island seeks a licensed Dentist to join our growing practice. You will promote oral health, diagnose diseases, educate patients on treatment options, and create comprehensive treatment plans.

With our nationwide network and commitment to continuing education, you will collaborate with clinicians to deliver high-quality care and mentor newer staff while expanding care offerings for patients in Mapleville and surrounding areas.

Qualifications

• Must hold a DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore patient's oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of the teeth and jaws.
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues of the oral cavity.
• Maintain the highest quality standard of care for all patients and uphold ethics and professionalism.
• Keep abreast of new developments and continuing education.
