Job summary

42North Dental in Providence, RI seeks a Dentist to promote oral health, diagnose diseases, create treatment plans, educate patients, review records, interpret X-rays, and provide restoration and preventive care in a growing practice.

We value continuing education, mentorship, and collaboration with our network of doctors; applicants must hold a DMD or DDS and a current state license, and be vaccinated for Hepatitis B with CPR/BLS certification.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues of the oral cavity.
• Maintain the highest quality standard of care and professionalism.
• Keep abreast of new developments and continuing education.
