Job summary

42North Dental in Michigan is seeking a DDS/DMD-qualified Dentist to lead the clinical patient experience from initial exam and treatment plan to delivery of care. In-office services include periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

You will promote oral health, diagnose diseases, educate patients on options, and create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health while upholding the highest standards of ethics and professionalism.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases and plan care.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create and review treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plans with patients and obtain consent.
• Maintain and update patients' dental records.
• Interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.
• Maintain highest quality and ethical standards of care.
• Stay current with developments and continuing education.
