Job summary

42 North Dental is seeking a licensed dentist to deliver comprehensive patient care across the full scope of dentistry. You will manage exams, treatment plans, and the delivery of care including periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

The role emphasizes patient education, meticulous record-keeping, and adherence to the highest ethical standards, with opportunities for continuing education and career mentorship.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review, maintain and update patients’ medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret X-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.
• Maintain the highest quality standard of care for all patients.
• Maintain the highest standard of ethics and professionalism.
• Keep up with new developments and continuing education.
