Job summary

42 North Dental is seeking a dentist to deliver comprehensive patient care across exams, diagnosis, treatment planning and delivery of restorative and surgical procedures. You will educate patients, review options with them, and maintain accurate records in a collaborative environment.

The ideal candidate holds a DMD/DDS, a valid state license, BLS/CPR certification, Hepatitis B vaccination documentation, and malpractice insurance. A pathway to growth and equity is highlighted in our culture.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.
• Maintain the highest quality standard of care for all patients.
• Maintain the highest standard of ethics and professionalism.
• Keep abreast of new developments and CE through ongoing education.
