Job summary

42North Dental is recruiting a Dentist to manage the full patient care journey from initial exam to treatment delivery, including in-office specialties like periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics. The role offers a strong compensation package and opportunities for equity and career mentorship.

The dentist will maintain patient records, review treatment options with patients, and uphold the highest standards of care and ethics while staying current with new dental technologies

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention
• Diagnose oral diseases
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health
• Review treatment plan options with patients
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests
• Monitor growth and development of the teeth and jaws
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues
• Maintain the highest quality standard of care for all patients
• Maintain the highest standard of ethics and professionalism
• Keep abreast of new developments and best practices through continuing education
