Job summary

Ocean Health Initiatives in Lakewood, NJ is seeking a Dentist to join our full-time dental team. The role involves providing comprehensive dental care, including diagnosis, prevention, operative and surgical treatments, in accordance with policy and safety standards.

The successful candidate will have a New Jersey dental license, a DDS/DMD from an accredited school, 3–5 years of general dentistry experience, and CDS/DEA licenses. BLS certification is also required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Dentistry is required.
• Active State of New Jersey Dental License is required.
• Three to five years of experience in general dentistry with a diverse patient population.
• CDS and DEA Licenses to prescribe and maintain controlled substances are required.
• BLS for providers through American Heart Association

Responsibilities

• Provides oral health assessment, diagnosis and treatment as clinically indicated.
• Adheres to policies, procedures and safety standards.
• Maintains accurate documentation in the oral health record and EMR within 24 hours.
• Works cooperatively with staff and other providers to achieve clinic goals.
• Communicates with patients about dental care and education.
