Job summary

42 North Dental in Connecticut seeks a licensed Dentist to lead the full patient care experience, from exam and treatment planning to delivery of care across dentistry specialties.

You will promote oral health, educate patients, create and review treatment plans, and maintain patient records. The practice offers strong CE, mentorship, and opportunities for equity along with high earning potential.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree accredited by the ADA CODA.
• Current state dental license to practice.
• Vaccination against Hepatitis B documentation.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• BLS or CPR certification valid.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.
• Maintain high quality standards of care.
• Maintain ethics and professionalism.
• Stay current with new developments and best practices.
