Qualifications

• Licensed to practice dentistry in the state of North Carolina.

Responsibilities

• Take and review medical and dental history and perform examination of hard and soft tissues.
• Provide primary dental care and treatment for offenders within the prison system.
• Order diagnostic studies and arrange follow up and consultation as needed.
• Supervise dental staff and delegate duties for efficient operation of the dental office.
• Maintain documentation of procedures and ensure infection control practices are followed.
• Provide oral hygiene instruction and communicate diagnostic and treatment concerns to offenders.
