42North Dental is seeking a Dentist to lead the full clinical patient experience from exam to delivery of care in a thriving practice near Boston. In-office specialties include periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics, with a strong patient flow and collaborative team environment.

The role emphasizes comprehensive patient care, ethics, and ongoing professional development through education opportunities and mentorship within a network of doctors.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Active dental license in the state of practice.
• Vaccination against Hepatitis B required.
• Malpractice insurance coverage required.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention
• Diagnose oral diseases
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore patient's oral health
• Review treatment plan options with patients
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues of the oral cavity
• Maintain the highest quality standard of care for all patients
• Maintain the highest standard of ethics and professionalism
• Keep abreast of new developments, technologies, best practices and standard of care through continuing education

Education

DMD or DDS degree

Current state license to practice dentistry

Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination

Proof of malpractice insurance

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification
