Job summary

42North Dental is seeking a part-time Dentist to join our team in Pennsylvania. You will manage the full patient experience from exam to treatment, with in-office services including periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

The schedule is part-time with two Saturday mornings per month, and multiple generous benefits are offered to eligible staff. You will promote preventive care and develop comprehensive treatment plans.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissue.
• Maintain high quality standard of care and ethics.
• Pursue continuing education to stay current with best practices.
