Job summary

42 North Dental in Pennsylvania is seeking a dentist for a part-time role with early morning hours and two Saturdays per month. The position participates in in-house specialties including periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery and orthodontics, contributing to a high-quality patient experience.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS from ADA CODA accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Vaccination for Hepatitis B documented.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• BLS or CPR certification current.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases and propose treatment options.
• Educate patients on oral health and options.
• Create and discuss treatment plans to maintain health.
• Review treatment options with patients.
• Maintain and update medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret X-rays and tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive care.
• Perform surgical procedures as needed.
• Maintain high standards of care, ethics and professionalism.
• Keep updated with new developments and continuing education.
