Job summary

42North Dental in Pennsylvania is seeking a dentist to join our patient‑centered team. The Dentist will oversee the entire clinical patient experience from initial exam and treatment plan to delivery of care, with in‑office services including periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Active state dentistry license is required.
• Vaccination against Hepatitis B must be documented.
• Malpractice insurance proof required.
• BLS or CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Maintain and update patients' dental records.
• Review and interpret X-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth and supporting structures.
• Uphold high standards of care, ethics, and professionalism.
• Stay current with new developments and ongoing education.

Education

DMD or DDS degree

Current state license to practice dentistry

Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination

Proof of malpractice insurance

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification
