Job summary

42 North Dental is seeking a part-time Dentist to join our established practice in Ambler, PA. You will deliver comprehensive dental care, from exams to treatment planning, including in-office specialties. The role offers a strong patient flow and opportunities for continuing education.

Responsibilities include promoting oral health, diagnosing conditions, presenting treatment options, and maintaining patient records. Must hold a DMD/DDS and CPR/BLS certification, with active state licensure.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention
• Diagnose oral diseases
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health
• Review treatment plan options with patients
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records
• Review and interpret x‑rays and diagnostic tests
• Monitor growth and development of the teeth and jaws
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care
• Perform surgical procedures on the teeth, bone and soft tissues of the oral cavity
• Maintain the highest quality standard of care and ethics
• Keep abreast of new developments and continuing education.
