Centurion Health, in partnership with State Correctional Institution Greene, is seeking a Dentist contractor to provide comprehensive dental care for incarcerated patients at Waynesburg, PA. The role requires delivering exams, extractions, restorations, prosthetics, prophylaxis, fluoride, and endodontic treatments.

The position offers independent contractor status with guaranteed compensation for 37.5 hours per week, and the ability to impact oral health in a correctional environment.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an approved school.
• Successful completion of an approved U.S. residency training program in Dental Medicine with emphasis on preventive and corrective dentistry and hygiene.
• Current unrestricted license to practice dentistry in Pennsylvania (PA) with PA State Board of Dentistry.
• Current unrestricted certificate to prescribe medication from the U.S. DEA.

The Dentist provides comprehensive professional dental treatment to address the oral health needs of incarcerated patients including routine recall exams, simple extractions, restorations, prosthetic services, prophylaxis, fluoride treatments, and endodontic treatments.

Qualifications

• Graduation with a degree of Doctor of Dental Medicine from a school approved or recognized by the Pennsylvania State Board of Dentistry.
• Successful completion of an approved U.S. residency training program; with emphasis in the Dental Medicine, with emphasis on preventive and corrective dentistry and hygiene.
• Possession of a current unrestricted license to practice dentistry in Pennsylvania issued by the Pennsylvania State Board of Dentistry.
• Possession of a current unrestricted certificate to prescribe medication from the U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency.
