Qualifications

• Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an approved school.
• Successful completion of an approved U.S. residency training program in Dental Medicine with emphasis on preventive and corrective dentistry and hygiene.
• Current unrestricted license to practice dentistry in Pennsylvania (PA) with PA State Board of Dentistry.
• Current unrestricted certificate to prescribe medication from the U.S. DEA.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive professional dental treatment to address the oral health needs of incarcerated patients, including routine recall exams, simple extractions, restorations, prosthetic services, prophylaxis, fluoride treatments, and endodontic treatments.
