Qualifications

• Graduation with a degree of Doctor of Dental Medicine from a school approved or recognized by the Pennsylvania State Board of Dentistry.
• Successful completion of an approved U.S. residency training program; with emphasis in Dental Medicine, with emphasis on preventive and corrective dentistry and hygiene.
• Possession of a current unrestricted license to practice dentistry in Pennsylvania issued by the Pennsylvania State Board of Dentistry.
• Possession of a current unrestricted certificate to prescribe medication from the U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive professional dental treatment to address the oral health needs of incarcerated patients including routine recall exams, simple extractions, restorations, prosthetic services, prophylaxis, fluoride treatments, and endodontic treatments.
