Description

The Dentist is responsible for providing general dentistry and supervising dental assistants and hygienists.

Responsibilities Include
  1. Provide direct service to patients.
  2. Ensure compliance with DPH, OSHA, and Dental Association regulations.
  3. Follow departmental protocols.
  4. Meet productivity standards (if applicable).
  5. Provide general dentistry and supervise dental assistants and hygienists.
  6. Attend required meetings.
  7. Commit to providing dental care to families in a medically underserved community.
  8. Be flexible in developing new methods of dental service delivery.
  9. Handle sensitive information confidentially.
Minimum Qualifications
  1. DDS or DMD from an accredited Dental School.
  2. Fully licensed or LLD.
  3. Massachusetts Controlled Substance certificate and DEA registration.
  4. CPR certification.
  5. Licensed in Massachusetts to practice Dentistry, with a valid Massachusetts Limited License in Dentistry.
  6. Minimum of three years’ US professional experience preferred.
  7. Public Health experience preferred.
  8. Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.
