Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of dental front office or treatment coordinating experience.
• Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and insurance processes.
• Experience with Open Dental software preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
• Professional appearance and positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Present and explain treatment plans in a clear, confident, and compassionate manner.
• Review insurance benefits, estimates, financing options, and payment arrangements with patients.
• Coordinate scheduling for restorative, implant, cosmetic, hygiene, and specialty procedures.
• Monitor and follow up on unscheduled treatment plans to improve case acceptance.
• Verify insurance benefits and obtain pre-authorizations as needed.
• Maintain accurate patient records and treatment notes within practice management software.
• Communicate effectively with doctors, hygienists, assistants, and administrative team members.
• Assist in managing daily schedule productivity and minimizing cancellations or gaps.
• Provide excellent customer service and create a positive patient experience.
• Handle patient concerns professionally and elevate issues appropriately when needed.
• Support office goals related to collections, production, and patient retention.
