Job summary

Woodyard Periodontics in Newburgh, IN is seeking a Dental Sterilization Technician to join our patient-centered team. You will decontaminate, sort, clean, wrap, and sterilize dental instruments and equipment to the highest standards.

You will operate autoclaves and ultrasonic cleaners, document cycles per CDC/OSHA, restock exam rooms, manage inventory of sterilization supplies, and uphold strict infection control policies to ensure a safe, efficient workflow.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• CRCST or equivalent certification.
• Accredited DA program completion a plus.
• OSHA regulations knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Sterilization process: decontaminates, sorts, cleans, wraps, and sterilizes instruments and equipment.
• Equipment maintenance: operates autoclaves, ultrasonic cleaners, heat sealers; records cycles per standards.
• Cleans and restocks exam rooms; maintains inventory of sterilization supplies.
• Adheres to infection control policies and documents monitoring logs.
