Woodyard Periodontics in Newburgh, IN is seeking a Dental Sterilization Tech to uphold sterile, patient‑centered care. You will decontaminate, sort, clean, wrap and sterilize instruments and equipment, operate autoclaves, and maintain records per CDC/OSHA standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• CRCST certification.
• Accredited DA program completion a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and a positive, team-oriented mindset.
• OSHA regulations knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Sterilization Process: Decontaminates, sorts, cleans, wraps, and sterilizes dental instruments and equipment.
• Equipment Maintenance: Operates and monitors autoclaves, ultrasonic cleaners, and heat sealers; records sterilization cycles per CDC/OSHA regulations.
• Cleans, disinfects, and restocks exam rooms between patients and at the end of the day.
• Inventory Management: Manages and orders sterilization supplies and keeps inventory organized.
• Safety & Compliance: Follows strict infection control protocols and keeps records of biological and chemical monitoring.
