Job summary

The Mosaic Dental Collective-supported Clifton Nakatani DDS practice in Sacramento, CA is seeking a reliable Sterilization Technician to maintain infection control and assist with instrument sterilization and supply management. This full-time role requires attention to detail, strong communication, and adherence to OSHA standards in a fast-paced dental team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; state-mandated certification or training
• 1+ years of sterilization experience preferred
• RDA registration required
• Strong organization and attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities

Responsibilities

• Scrub and wash surgical instruments, containers, and equipment such as aspirators
• Sterilize instruments and supplies using autoclave or sterilizer
• Prepare packs of supplies and wrap, label, and seal packs
• Store prepared articles in designated areas
• Fill requisitions and inventory supplies
• Conduct spore testing on autoclaves and record results
• Log hazardous waste disposal information
• Perform other duties as assigned
