Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and state-required certification or training.
• 1+ year of sterilization or dental assisting experience preferred.
• RDA registration required.

Responsibilities

• Scrub and wash surgical instruments, containers, and equipment.
• Sterilize instruments, equipment, surgical linens, and supplies.
• Prepare packs of supplies, instruments, and dressing and treatment trays, per lists.
• Store prepared articles and supplies in designated areas.
• Fill requisitions, write charges, and inventory supplies.
• Conduct spore testing on autoclaves and record results.
• Log disposal of hazardous waste materials.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
