Job summary

Dentists' Office of Hudson Valley in New York is seeking a Dental Sterilization Technician to join our team on a full-time basis. The role focuses on maintaining the cleanliness and sterility of the laboratory and operatory hardware, including tray setups and instrument processing.

You will disinfect instruments, prepare new instrument setups, and assist with seating patients and treatment setup. The schedule runs Monday-Thursday 8:45am-5pm, Friday-Saturday 7:45am-4pm.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability in a detailed work environment and working according to established protocols.
• Ability to interact effectively with other employees as well as with the general public.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and order of the laboratory/office and tray setups.
• Disinfect instruments and place in sterilization.
• Assist with seating of patients and treatment setup.
• Develop x-rays as needed; insure cases are ready for pickup.
• Monitor operatory supplies and instrument trays.
